Everyone, it’s free weekend at all the National Parks through MLK Jr. Day! I feel like this is such delightful news. Please tell your friends! Visiting any National Park would be a treat and everyone should know about this opportunity.
If you are unable to take a trip this weekend, don’t worry. Here are the other dates of FREE entry into the parks:
Free admission to the nation’s parks will also be offered during National Park Week (April 21-29), Get Outdoors Day (June 9), National Public Lands Day (September 29) and Veterans Day weekend (November 10-12).
I have a few National Parks on my list that I created on December 22, 2010. Crater Lake is 1st on my list to see, however, the rest are listed in no particular order. I am sure I could add more if I sat down and looked at a map…
1. Crater Lake
2. Bryce Canyon
3. Yosemite
4. Lassen Volcanic
5. Yellowstone
6. Redwood
7. Mount Rainier

Happy Birthday Isaac Newton. He invented calculus before he was 26. No pressure, though, guys.

This is a great way to leave on a mark on your travels (you never know when you need to make a mark) or to make a stamp to use on a letter or postcard home.
P.S: Always carry a sharpie.
